Technical Writer (CLEARED)
to join a DoD subcontractor supporting various government programs. This is a
full - time
position offering
great remote flexibility , but needs someone
relatively local to Alexandria, VA.
Essential Duties of the Technical Writer (CLEARED):
Documenting the architecture, design decisions, deployment procedures, and testing results.
Ensure content is clear, accurate and aligns with Navy documentation standards
Translate technical inputs into concise, actionable deliverables for stakeholders
Support delivery of design artifacts and system overviews
Qualifications of the Technical Writer (CLEARED):
5+ years of Technical Writing experience
Experience supporting a Navy program/contract.
Proven experience creating and editing user manuals, SOPs, system documentation, proposals or RFP responses and knowledge-based articles.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Compensation for the Technical Writer (CLEARED):
$65,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
Great remote flexibility – only occasional onsite meetings when required by government customer
Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, Sick Leave as required by law, paid holidays
