Are you the kind of automotive enthusiast who can instantly assess a vehicle’s true value — and understand how strategic decisions drive measurable financial results? Our financial institution is seeking a knowledgeable, detail-driven professional to oversee the acquisition and remarketing strategy for all repossessed vehicles. In this highly visible role, you’ll leverage your expertise in makes, models, components, and value-enhancing features to review condition reports for accuracy, coordinate cost-effective reconditioning, and strategically price each vehicle to maximize return. Determining whether a vehicle should be retailed or sent to auction will be a key part of your decision‑making process, always with the goal of reducing deficiency balances and minimizing company loss.
Experience within a financial institution — or a solid understanding of lending, asset recovery, and loss mitigation — is highly beneficial, as each action directly impacts portfolio performance. You’ll work closely with vendors to oversee repairs and ensure quality, manage timelines and budgets, and use strong negotiation skills to control costs. Excellent communication, sound judgment, and financial acumen are essential to succeed in this role. If you’re passionate about cars and energized by blending automotive knowledge with financial strategy to deliver real results, this opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact.
