Used Equipment Consultant !
Role Summary The Used Equipment Consultant serves as a trusted business advisor to equipment dealers across North and South America, leveraging deep knowledge of equipment, customers, and market dynamics to translate insights into actionable go‑to‑market strategies. You'll spend 75% of your time consulting with dealers to shape go-to-market (GTM) approaches and align marketing plans to local market demand, and 25% facilitating the sale of Caterpillar used equipment to ensure a robust, competitive fleet. This role requires strong analytical capability, bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish), and the ability to convert data and market signals into commercial action.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
Act as a liaison between Caterpillar and Dealers, serving as an advocate for both, to optimize Used support and operations
Monitor Dealer performance metrics and convert the information into actions to enhance performance to objectives
Support and engage with Dealer leaders in Used and Operations to align with Caterpillar strategy, objectives and metrics
Review and monitor Dealer performance and feedback and make informed recommendations to the global strategy
Engage with customers to understand needs and requirements for Used equipment
Increase market intelligence for the Used equipment industry and share insights and practices to enable and improve Dealer Used operations

Top Candidates Will Also Have
Bilingual in English/Spanish (proficiency speaking and writing)
OEM or heavy equipment industry experience in roles focused on GTM activities
Experience coaching, guiding, consulting on business operations, particularly within a dealer network
Maintains positive and can-do attitude and approach to work
Additional Details
Work location: Dallas, TX is the preferred work location. Miramar, FL may also be considered.
Territory: North and South America
Domestic relocation assistance is not available for this role
Travel: 50-60% domestic and international
When not traveling, this role is expected to work from a Caterpillar office
Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
