Responsibilities
As a paralegal working on insurance and personal injury cases, you will be fighting for clients' rights alongside the attorney.
Helping with cases and talking with clients to reduce the stress that comes with the legal process.
Initially, all paralegals begin by working in the office where it’s easy to ask questions, talk to colleagues, and connect as a team.
Scheduling and setting depositions, mediations, and hearings.
Filing and serving pleadings in both State and Federal Court.
Communicating with clients.
Helping with discovery.
Calendaring deadlines.
Conducting regular file reviews with the attorney to go over the status and next steps.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Paralegal.
Paralegal certification (preferred).
Personal injury experience (preferred).
