River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Director with full clinical licensure to lead a team of supervisors and program managers at our Macon/Bibb County location. The Program Director provides a diverse range of support and clinical oversite to the program managers of the adult and child and adolescent outpatient programs. Provides leadership across multiple departments. As part of the River Edge Leadership Team, will be involved with agency policy and procedure development. Will attend meetings at the agency, county, and state level. Must be able to display a high level of effort and commitment to performing work, operate effectively within the organizational structure.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and implement compliance with policies/procedures/guidelines for all funding/credentialing bodies (DBHDD, Medicaid, CARF, and more).
Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with the Department of Behavior Health and Developmental Disabilities community.
Monitors budgets, authorizations, billing, staffing patterns, and productivity and makes suggestions/improvements accordingly.
Oversees the timeliness of admission and discharge of individuals to ensure compliance with legal requirements and continuity of care.
Interviews, hires, directs, develops, and evaluates the performance, conduct, and attendance of team members, and when necessary, create improvement plans to address deficits.
Ensure the following mental health services are provided: Behavioral health assessments, brief and ongoing mental health counseling, substance abuse assessment, counseling and groups, discharge planning, including family contacts, case management, and Emergency crisis intervention.
Demonstrates the ability to problem-solve at a designated level of management in addition to effective role modeling, delegation and acts as a resource for the entire staff.
Assist in the development of DBHDD placement continuums required for mental health and substance abuse services to ensure aftercare plans are present and appropriate for the acuity level.
Provides crisis intervention as needed.
Qualifications
Master's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy) required.
Fully Licensed - LPC, LCSW, LMFT, required,
Three (3) years of management experience in a fast-paced environment, required,
Five (5) years of providing behavioral health services, preferred,
Demonstrated ability to design, develop and modify programming required,
Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic programs with adults and/or children, preferred,
Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written,
Must have the ability to multi-task and remain organized in a structured environment, required.
Provide 2 Professional references (Former employers only, no family members),
