Raccoon Valley Radio is expanding our News and Sports coverage in Guthrie County, and we’re looking for the right person to join our award-winning team!
This is your opportunity to be a “big fish in a small pond.” If you have a passion for local news, love covering high school athletics, and enjoy connecting with your community, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver accurate, timely local news coverage
Provide sports reporting and play-by-play coverage
Cover community events and local government meetings
Serve as a trusted voice for area residents
Help provide the information people rely on to make good decisions
What We’re Looking For:
Strong communication skills (on-air and written)
A passion for local journalism and community involvement
Knowledge of or interest in local sports
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Broadcasting or journalism experience preferred (but the right attitude matters most!)
