
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Network Services is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ network infrastructure. This includes both local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs), as well as internet connectivity, network security, and the management of network hardware and software.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Develop and implement network strategies and plans that align with the organization's overall business goals and objectives
Manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and connectivity
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices
Ensure the security and reliability of the network, including implementing security measures and monitoring network performance
Manage the budget and resources for the network services team, including staffing, training, and purchasing
Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure that network services support the organization's broader technology needs
Keep up to date with industry trends and developments in network technology, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades as needed
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the network services team, and mentor team members to develop their skills and knowledge
Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
Six (6) years of experience in network infrastructure operations with fully integrated resort applications for a large enterprise environment
Previous experience managing a network engineering team preferred
Experience operating in major cloud environments, including AWS and/or Azure
Advanced troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-resolution abilities
Extensive experience with major gaming systems
Familiarity with a wide range of operational tools and concepts
Passion for continuous improvement
Experience with compliance for regulated industries
Ability to simultaneously manage several projects
Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position supervises all positions that fall within the Network Services department.
