Role Summary
Contract:
2 months, full-time hours (40 hrs/week)
Compensation:
$60–100/hr, commensurate with experience
About the Role
Flowcode is looking for a Contract Website Designer to own the end-to-end redesign of our marketing website. You’ll take provided site maps and wireframes through final, production-ready high-fidelity designs in Figma, build a scalable design system for the site, and partner closely with Marketing and Brand to optimize for clarity, flow, and conversion.
This is a full-time, two-month contract engagement based onsite at our Soho office. The ideal candidate has deep Figma expertise, strong familiarity with Webflow, and experience designing customer-facing SaaS websites for B2B2C audiences.
What You’ll Do
End-to-End Website Design
Own the full design lifecycle: take site maps and wireframes through final, production-ready high-fidelity designs in Figma
Confidently iterate with Marketing and Brand stakeholders to improve clarity, information hierarchy, flow, and conversion
Provide component specs and build guidance that translate cleanly into Webflow, including responsive behavior, states, variants, and interactions
Design System Development
Create a reusable website design system in Figma with fully connected, drag-and-drop components and styles
Start from an existing UI kit (aligned with our product UI where appropriate) and extend for marketing-site needs
Build and maintain components with strong structure: variables/tokens, variants, auto layout, constraints, naming conventions, and lightweight documentation
Create net-new components as needed, including hero modules, feature callouts, pricing layouts, testimonials, navigation/footer patterns, and more
Visual Storytelling & Product Abstraction
Translate product functionality into digestible visual abstractions that support copy: diagrams, UI callouts, workflows, and benefit storytelling
Merge product abstractions and feature storytelling with lifestyle imagery and video within a cohesive, brand-forward system
What You Bring
Expert-level Figma proficiency, including component libraries and scalable design systems
Strong Webflow familiarity: deep understanding of platform constraints and best practices for responsiveness, structure, and interactions
Ability to storyboard animations for video or Lottie implementation in Webflow
Experience designing customer-facing SaaS websites for B2B2C audiences (ICPs: marketers and data teams)
Ability to translate complex product use cases and features into accessible, on-brand visuals
Strong portfolio demonstrating website design, design systems work, and visual storytelling
Excellent communication skills and the ability to iterate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to thrive in fast-moving, iterative environments with high autonomy
Bonus Points For
Motion and animation skills (After Effects, Principle, or similar)
Experience with conversion-optimized marketing site design
Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and workflows
