Testo SE & Co. KGaA, New Bremen, Ohio, United States
Overview
Testo, with its headquarters in the Black Forest/Germany, is a world market leader in the field of portable and stationary measurement technology. Worldwide, roughly 3900 employees research, develop, produce and market innovative measurement solutions for Testo. The basis for this success, in addition to the highly qualified and motivated staff, is the above-average commitment to a future-oriented development - roughly 10% of the annual concern turnover is invested in Research & Development. With 37 subsidiary companies and over 80 distribution partners, Testo is represented on all five continents.
Your area of responsibility Based at our Titisee-Neustadt or Berlin office and as part of our UX team, you transform complex measurement technology into intuitive digital experiences: from the app that technicians use on-site to capture temperature readings, to the cloud platform for measurement data management. Here\'s what you\'ll be working on:
Interface design – from app to instrument:
You design user interfaces for mobile apps (iOS/Android), web applications and device displays. You translate complex measurement processes into clear, intuitive interaction concepts – using wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
User research & usability testing:
You own the entire discovery process – from field observations with service technicians and user interviews to data analysis and moderated usability tests – turning insights into the foundation of every design decision.
Design systems:
You build and maintain a cross-platform design system – ensuring components, patterns and style guides stay consistent across all Testo products and accelerate development.
Product development as a team:
You work closely with product owners, product managers and developers, bring the user perspective into refinements and sprint reviews, and see your designs through to release.
UX culture & design thinking:
You facilitate workshops, promote user-centred thinking across business units and strengthen the understanding that thoughtful user experience is a real competitive advantage – even in B2B measurement technology.
Your qualification
UX/UI experience:
At least 2 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products – ideally in a technical B2B environment. You master the full UX process from research (customer interviews, usability testing, personas, user journeys) to the final design solution.
Design systems:
Strong proficiency in Figma – especially building and maintaining component libraries, tokens and variants.
Prototyping:
Experience creating low- to high-fidelity prototypes and clickable user flows as a communication and validation tool – both internally and in user tests.
Cross-functional collaboration:
You communicate confidently with different technology teams, product owners and customers, making complex topics accessible and actionable.
Passion for UX:
You're driven by creating outstanding user experiences, bring that energy into workshops and customer interactions, and champion user-centred thinking across the organisation.
Work style:
Independent, curious and collaborative – you think in user problems, not features, and drive ideas forward without positional authority.
Language skills:
Fluent English. German is a plus.
