Responsibilities

Design and lead the end-to-end communications strategy for the small business initiative, ensuring alignment with business objectives and firmwide priorities.

Serve as the central connector, working across Consumer and Community Banking, Corporate Impact, Public Affairs, Marketing, and other lines of business to lead unified messaging and maximize impact.

Develop compelling narratives and campaigns that highlight the firm’s support for small businesses, including success stories, new programs, and community impact.

Partner with government relations and policy teams to communicate the firm’s perspective on small business policy issues and advocate for solutions that benefit clients and communities.

Lead external communications for the initiative, including media relations, thought leadership, and content to position JPMorganChase as a champion for small business.

Collaborate closely with internal communications to engage employees, foster advocacy, and ensure consistent understanding of small business priorities.

Advise senior leaders on communications strategy, messaging, and reputation management related to small business initiatives.

Measure and report on communications effectiveness, using insights to refine strategy and demonstrate value to the business.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in communications, media relations, public affairs, or related field, ideally within financial services or a large, complex organization.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and lead alignment across diverse teams.

Strong experience in both internal and external communications, including media relations and policy communications

Excellent storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with a track record of advancing business and policy goals through communications.

Experience advising senior executives and managing high-profile initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree required
