Our client is seeking a Senior Marketing Director with eCommerce or Direct-to-Consumer experience. This is a new position with opportunity for ownership of the function and growth.

The Senior Marketing Director will lead the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives across a growing direct-to-consumer business. This role is responsible for building brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and supporting revenue growth through effective go-to-market planning and cross-channel marketing. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across product, creative, and commercial priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all marketing strategy and execution across physical and digital products.

Develop and own go-to-market plans for major product launches, including positioning, messaging, channel strategy, and timing.

Establish and evolve brand voice, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Partner with internal stakeholders across product, creative, operations, legal, and business teams to support launch readiness and ongoing initiatives.

Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to execute campaigns and creative deliverables.

Analyze marketing performance across channels (e-commerce, paid media, social, email/CRM) to inform optimization and investment decisions.

Build and oversee community-driven and grassroots marketing initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty and brand advocacy.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals and external resources responsible for day-to-day execution.

Qualifications

7+ years of marketing experience within direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, or consumer-focused brands.

Proven success leading product launches and integrated marketing campaigns.

Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring performance, attribution, and ROI.

Strategic yet hands‑on leader who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Experience executing creative, grassroots, or non-traditional marketing programs with limited budgets.
