Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed annual revenue goals for group bookings, corporate accounts, weddings, social events, and transient leisure segments.
Prospect, solicit, and close high-value group and transient business through direct sales calls, site inspections, trade shows, networking events, and digital outreach.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, including repeat corporate clients, wedding planners, tour operators, and travel advisors.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Group Sales, Director of Catering, revenue management, and operations teams to maximize yield and ensure seamless execution of booked business.
Prepare and present compelling proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to client needs, highlighting the resort's unique features (oceanfront luxury, 5 pools, private beach, spa, dining, and adventure activities).
Conduct property tours and host familiarization (FAM) trips for potential clients and intermediaries.
Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM systems (e.g., Delphi or similar).
Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies in the Florida Keys luxury resort segment.
Participate in industry events, local networking, and marketing initiatives to elevate Isla Bella's brand visibility.
Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or upscale properties, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership sales role. Prior Florida Keys, South Florida, or destination resort experience strongly preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Skills: Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets; excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills; strong knowledge of group sales processes, catering/event coordination, and revenue management principles.
Technical: Proficiency in sales/CRM software (Delphi, Salesforce, or equivalent), Microsoft Office Suite, and revenue tools.
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset; exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build long-term client relationships; detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Other: Willingness to travel for sales calls, trade shows, and site inspections; flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends as needed for client events.
