
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Project HSE Advisor
to support a large-scale international
power transmission project
involving high-voltage infrastructure in the
rance . The position is based in
Rotterdam, Netherlands , supporting onshore, nearshore, and marine installation activities related to subsea and land cable systems.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a visible HSE advisor and safety champion within the project
Support implementation of project HSE plans and procedures
Provide day-to-day HSE guidance to project teams and contractors Ensure compliance with French HSE laws and regulatory requirements
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, and safety walks
Support risk assessments and permit-to-work processes
Monitor contractor HSE performance and compliance
Assist with incident reporting and investigations
Coordinate HSE matters between onshore and offshore teams
Candidate Profile Essential
Relevant HSE experience on large infrastructure or power transmission projects
Fluency in
French and English (spoken and written)
Strong knowledge of
French HSE legislation and regulatory framework
Experience working with contractors on complex project sites
Familiarity with risk management and permit-to-work systems
Preferred
Degree in Engineering, HSE, or related field
Offshore or marine project experience
Recognized HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent)
Willingness to travel as required
