Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Manager, Retail Performance Analyst to support the Mobile business by driving data-driven insights across retail performance and operations. This role plays a critical part in analyzing complex retail datasets, developing performance dashboards, and translating data into actionable recommendations that improve sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in retail analytics, dashboard development, and performance measurement, along with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making at multiple organizational levels. A proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze retail performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve sales performance and operational efficiency.
Interpret large, complex datasets and translate findings into clear, concise insights using charts, graphs, tables, and executive summaries.
Build, maintain, and enhance performance dashboards that track key KPIs and support business decision-making.
Establish a consistent framework for monitoring retail performance and operational metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to efficiently consolidate data from multiple sources.
Conduct in-depth analysis of retail operations to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of retail initiatives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Download, validate, and maintain daily POS sales data, retail traffic data, and financial data.
Own and maintain weekly combined sales and traffic dashboards.
Support the Senior Manager with dashboard development and ad-hoc reporting across multiple data sources to provide insights into Mobile business performance.
Lead special analytical projects and develop new KPIs to support business growth and operational optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 6 years of experience in retail analytics, sales analytics, business performance analysis, or dashboard development.
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights effectively.
Proven experience developing and maintaining business performance dashboards and reporting solutions.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment requiring multitasking and minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
