
The Manager, Investor Relations, plays a critical leadership role within the Investor Relations (IR) function, serving as a strategic partner to the Director of Investor Relations and senior leadership. This role is responsible for helping shape and articulate the company’s investment thesis, financial strategy, and long‑term value proposition to the investment community.
The Manager will support the execution of core IR processes—including quarterly earnings, investor communications, and engagement strategy—while overseeing day‑to‑day IR analytics and supporting the development of the Senior Analyst. The ideal candidate combines strong capital markets expertise with exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced public company environment.
Responsibilities
Lead preparation and execution of quarterly earnings processes, including press releases, scripts, question and answer (Q&A) materials, investor presentations, and supporting financial analyses
Partner with Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, and executive leadership to ensure consistent, clear, and compelling external messaging
Help shape and evolve the company’s investment thesis and long‑term narrative
Prepare senior leadership for investor engagements through briefing materials and strategic talking points
Support the Director, Investor Relations as a point of contact for buy‑side and sell‑side analysts and investors
Support investor targeting efforts and shareholder base strategy
Coordinate and participate in investor conferences, roadshows, and non‑deal roadshows
Provide ongoing analysis of stock performance, valuation, peer benchmarking, and investor sentiment
Synthesize analyst research, estimate trends, and competitive developments into actionable insights for senior leadership
Monitor industry, macroeconomic, and capital markets trends to inform management decision‑making
Partner closely with Treasury, Legal, Corporate Communications, Strategy, and business leaders to ensure alignment of messaging and disclosure
Oversee content and governance of the Investor Relations website and disclosure materials
Support preparation of IR‑related materials for Board of Directors meetings
Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to the Senior Analyst, ensuring high‑quality analytics and materials
Elevate analytical rigor and improve IR processes and tools
Drive continuous improvement in IR reporting, modeling, and communication frameworks
Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
Five (5) years of experience in investor relations, equity research (buy‑side or sell‑side), corporate finance, or related capital markets role
Strong understanding of public company reporting requirements and capital markets dynamics
Demonstrated experience supporting earnings processes and senior executive communications
Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear messaging
Strong executive presence and ability to interact confidently with senior management and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
Available for international and overnight travel (10%)
Currently in possession of a valid passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
Must pass a pre‑employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Master of Business Administration degree, Master’s in Finance or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
At least one (1) year of investor relations experience
Previous in‑house or financial market (sell‑side or buy‑side) airline experience
Strong financial and business background with the ability to analyze, understand and articulate all aspects of the company’s business plan
Regular attendance and punctuality
Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short‑notice
Able to maintain a professional appearance

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is between $100,000.00 and $150,000.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
