Hampton Cove is located near Huntsville, Alabama. Hampton Cove is a 54‑hole public daily fee facility that is part of The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. It is the northern gateway for the state and the Trail. The Highlands Course consists of bentgrass greens, 419 bermudagrass tees, fairways, and rough. It also incorporates a substantial amount of native grasses such as bahia, fescue, and blue stem. All fairways are overseeded each fall with perennial ryegrass. The River Course consists of Champion ultradwarf bermudagrass, 419 bermudagrass tees, fairway, and rough with extensive native fescue areas. All fairways are seeded with perennial ryegrass during the fall. The par‑3 Short Course consists of Champion ultradwarf bermudagrass greens, 419 bermudagrass tees, and rough. Most tees are overseeded each fall with perennial ryegrass. All equipment for our site is Toro, tractors are Kubota, and the cart fleet is Ez‑Go. Prefer experience maintaining turfgrass equipment but will train if supported with other mechanic experience. Responsible for repairing and maintaining all cutting units on a wide variety of light and heavy equipment, as well as understanding manufacturer guidelines for equipment maintenance. Keep accurate records and logs of parts and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Demonstrate respect for and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain a positive attitude toward providing additional support to the maintenance team as needed.
