The Senior Marketing Technology Strategist is responsible for the design, stewardship, and evolution of the marketing technology, data, and digital experience ecosystem that supports Corporate Marketing and the broader enterprise. This role serves as a senior individual contributor and strategic authority, partnering closely with marketing leadership, IT, data teams, and cross-functional business stakeholders to ensure marketing technologies are scalable, well-governed, and aligned with business objectives. The role focuses on shaping future-state capabilities, enabling operational excellence, and translating complex technical concepts into practical, enterprise-ready solutions. In addition, this role plays a key role in advancing responsible, scalable adoption of artificial intelligence within the marketing department—helping define how AI can be applied across platforms, workflows, and data to improve efficiency, insight, and the customer experience. This position does not include people management responsibilities, but carries influence through architectural decision-making, strategic guidance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Serve as a strategic AI leader for the marketing department, identifying, piloting, and scaling AI-enabled capabilities across platforms and workflows.
Establish standards and governance for responsible AI usage, including guardrails for data access, security, and compliance.
Design and support AI-enabled workflows, automation, and assistive tools that drive efficiency and insight at scale.
Define and evolve AI agent management strategies, including use cases, governance structures, and patterns for monitoring and scaling agent-based solutions.
Champion enterprise and departmental data quality standards, data governance practices, metadata standards, and data lifecycle management for marketing data.
Support data management strategies, including data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, orchestration, and downstream reporting use cases.
Guide reporting and analytics functions—including performance dashboards, attribution modeling, engagement metrics, and cross-platform orchestration tracking.
Support search optimization strategies (SEO and AEO) to improve content discoverability, search performance, and overall digital reach.
Oversee the marketing technology portfolio, ensuring prioritization of initiatives, alignment with strategic goals, and clear resource allocation across projects and products.
Maintain deep subject matter expertise in marketing technologies and digital platforms and serve as the primary departmental advisor on MarTech strategy, selection, and optimization.
Build strategic partnerships with technology vendors; assess solutions to support business needs and innovation opportunities.
Regularly evaluate marketing technology platforms and tools to assess value, functionality, scalability, and opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Lead technology implementations and upgrades, including enterprise-level adoption, roadmap planning, configuration, and cross-functional rollout.
Assist with management of departmental budget, licensing, vendor relationships, and expenditure of funds; negotiate contracts and evaluate ROI.
Partner on enterprise-level initiatives, representing marketing technology needs and ensuring alignment with corporate systems, data strategy, and enterprise architecture.
Provide strategic oversight for integration design and management, ensuring systems are connected effectively for accurate, consistent, and secure data exchange across enterprise platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Corporate Marketing, IT, Data Governance, Corporate Communications, Business Development, Talent Acquisition, and others.
Represent Corporate Marketing as a MarTech leader on enterprise programs—including CRM/ERP modernization, data governance councils, AI task forces, digital transformation initiatives, and cross-business technology evaluations.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff.
Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Data Science, Business or a related degree and 8 years related professional experience, including enterprise-level marketing technology implementation, platform management, or digital experience leadership required.
Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms, including (but not limited to) marketing automation systems, CRM platforms, email marketing tools, content management systems, data analytics tools, SEO platforms, and integration technologies.
Experience implementing or partnering with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, project management tools, or enterprise data platforms.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead change thoughtfully and positively.
Highly detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate solutions holistically.
Strategic perspective with strong project management, resource planning, and organizational design capabilities.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for stakeholders and leadership.
Commitment to staying current with emerging marketing technology, AI, analytics, and digital trends, and making recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
