Career Opportunities with Global Health Strategies We are seeking a creative Senior Associate, Social Media who has advanced skills in LinkedIn and vertical video content creation (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) with hands‑on experience producing, editing, and distributing engaging written and video content. The incumbent should have a record of accomplishment of building visibility, engagement, and relationships on the platform. The ideal candidate is passionate about global health and social development and brings strong geopolitical awareness, sound editorial judgment, and a clear point of view on how digital platforms, particularly LinkedIn, can be used to engage policymakers, funders, partners, and other priority stakeholders. Senior Associates spend most of their time supporting client work but also contribute to internal thought leadership and digital innovation, helping strengthen how GHS leverages platforms to influence global conversations. This role is based in New York City, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office. About the Position

This role will work closely with GHS account teams and will play a significant role in GHS’ growing client executive leadership communications practice. The role is highly execution-focused and content-driven, with responsibility for managing channels, producing, and publishing content. Key Responsibilities

LinkedIn & Executive Communications:

Strategy:

Advise on strategies to engage key stakeholders and elevate the discourse and exchange on the platform; stay abreast of trends and new tactics on the platform Content Creation:

draft and publish executive and organizational content aligned with broader advocacy strategies. Vertical video production:

Provide hands‑on support for shooting and editing social videos, with an understanding of what works natively on this platform, as well as others. Content translation:

Distill complex global health and policy issues into accessible, compelling posts that resonate with target audiences. Platform expertise:

Stay abreast of digital trends and new tactics; monitor real‑time discourse and identify timely engagement opportunities. Content management:

Manage content calendars aligned with campaign milestones, reports, and key policy moments. Performance analysis:

Track performance metrics, generate insights, and refine content and strategy accordingly.

Platform operations:

Manage the day‑to‑day execution and operation of social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Bluesky, and emerging platforms) for GHS and client accounts. Knowledge sharing:

Collaborate with staff to develop multimedia content, including graphics, short‑form video, carousels, and interactive formats. Social listening:

Monitor social conversations, global policy discourse, and influencer activity relevant to client priorities, flagging opportunities, risks, and real‑time engagement moments. Measurement and reporting:

Support social media measurement and reporting, including performance tracking, insight generation, and optimization recommendations. Process documentation:

Document social media processes, workflows, and platform best practices; support internal trainings as needed. Ad hoc project support:

Provide project management and execution support, including meeting notes, work plans, timelines, and budget tracking, as required. Requirements and Qualifications

3-5 years of overall experience with advanced expertise in LinkedIn, a strong understanding of the social and digital media ecosystem, including TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, podcasts, and livestreaming. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Global Health, International Affairs, or related field. Demonstrated content creation skills, excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for public audiences. Experience in social media in global health or other social development companies/organizations, agency experience a plus . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and demonstrated interest in global health and policy. About Global Health Strategies
