
The Advisor Consultant will manage a defined territory (set by geography and/or Advisor segmentation), performing external sales functions. The Advisor Consultant will work within US Wealth Advisory Services team to drive sales in their defined territory across all products offered by Nuveen. He or she will partner closely with team members including Market Leaders, Advisor Consultants and Specialists and within the region. The position will be responsible for maintaining current client assets, cross selling producing advisors and converting prospects to clients.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Develop consultative relationships with financial advisors across the wire, independent and RIA distribution channels in an effort to grow the market share of Nuveen’s products and drive revenue for the firm.
Effectively communicate in depth understanding of Nuveen’s solutions, capital markets and industry trends.
Incorporate data analytics into territory to identify best opportunities for success.
Work effectively in a team environment with Market Leader, Advisor Consultants, Specialists and Internal Advisor Consultants in market.
Manage pipeline process to keep track of opportunities through different stages of sales process.
Collaborate and share best practices across the regional teams.
Support US Wealth Advisory Services broader campaigns and initiatives as needed on the entire product suite.
Conduct discovery work to review the opportunities within our client’s asset allocation and determine Nuveen investment solutions that may fit within their recommended allocations.
Develop and maintain relationships with centers of influence in territory.
Attend industry conferences/events.

Excellent planning, organization and time management skills; ability to analyze and prioritize large amounts of information
