Pay Range:
Hourly Non-exempt $26.81 per hour or $200 flat for New or Used vehicle sold or 100% commission start at 25% per sold unit, plus units bonus.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
Job Responsibilities
Present, promote and sell automobiles by demonstrating its characteristics, features, comparing competitive models, and conduct test drives.
Attend to the phone lines at all times in a friendly and prompt manner - reservations and general questions.
Explain warranties and services.
Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with existing and prospective customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collect payment; deliver automobiles.
Provide sales management information by completing reports.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Enhance dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Licensing
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must have a valid Sales License
Clean driving record (less than 2 points)
What we look for in our Salesperson?
High school diploma – Preferable
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Ability to effectively present and communicate with others, oral and written
Strong interpersonal skills with varying levels (co-workers, vendors, clients, and management)
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
