Heavy Civil Estimator
to join our growing team. In this critical role, you'll leverage your expertise to estimate costs for
excavating, utilities, storm drainage, and heavy civil projects , ensuring precision.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for heavy civil projects, including earthworks, storm drainage, utilities, and site preparation.
Utilize estimating software such as Heavy Bid, Agtek, Earthworks, or similar take‑off tools.
Conduct detailed project analysis, including site visits, to ensure accurate estimates.
Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and internal teams throughout the bid process.
Organize and manage all bid documentation, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
Assist with the preparation of project schedules and budgets to support competitive bidding.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address inquiries and updates during the estimating phase.
Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum 2 years of experience
Excellent computer skills and extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Project
Effective analytical, communicating, writing and organizational skills.
Be a proactive, organized, self‑starter and be able to manage workload and priorities
Valid Driver’s License, medical card, acceptable driving record to drive company vehicles.
