Your Tasks

Develop and own the marketing strategy with the Product Manager for your assigned market line with DECTRIS' strategic goals and overarching Marketing Strategy in collaboration with the team

Plan and execute product launches and campaigns to generate awareness, engagement, and qualified leads through various channels such as events, digital marketing, website and print

Organize and oversee scientific conferences and workshops, represent DECTRIS at key industry events, manage sponsorships, and ensure a professional presence at all times

Create advertising plans using both traditional and digital channels to maximize visibility and reach

Develop and execute a social media plan for your market, including content creation, posting schedules, and community engagement in collaboration with the Application Scientist

cross-functionally with Product Market Teams, Application Scientists, and Sales to define and ensure the creation of high-quality, market-specific content, such as white papers, case studies, application notes, videos, or customer interviews

Build a deep understanding of your market’s ecosystem: customer needs, competitors, emerging trends, and application contexts

Contribute to DECTRIS’ self-managing structure by taking ownership, sharing knowledge, and making decisions transparently

Your Skills

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences or related fields

At least 2 years of marketing experience in B2B or high-tech industries, ideally with experience from or strong affinity for scientific research, e.g. life science, materials science

Proven copywriting and editing skills in English, ideally in a technical or scientific context, with the ability to create clear, engaging content

Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines

Strong organisational skills, a structured working style, and an eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Proven ability to plan, execute, and measure integrated marketing initiatives, including events, product launches, and campaigns

Creative, proactive, and adaptable, as well as able to work autonomously in a self-managing organization while collaborating effectively with diverse teams in a dynamic, global environment

Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
