Responsibilities
Client Leadership:
Serve as a day‑to‑day account lead for clients in all forms of influencer marketing, including developing digital‑first strategies, providing counsel, developing plans on an ongoing basis, and leading plan execution. Partner closely with their VP on any key strategic decisions, striving for impeccable client service personally.
Account Stewardship:
Collaborate with the PR team and a full interagency team across media, creative, and social media, and develop creative influencer campaigns for the brands. Develop global strategies and recommend influencer standards across the brands and their local agencies in key markets (France, UK, Canada, etc.), working closely with integrated teams to create measurement plans, goals, and KPIs, and deliver regular analysis on brands.
Influencer Landscape Mastery:
Act as a critical expert for the agency in all things digital/social and drive best practices and learning while staying current on client audience, competitors, market, and trends to ensure the development of comprehensive digital strategies across channels; flag potential risks/opportunities to the Vice President and/or Client as necessary.
Team Leadership and Management:
Directly supervise the internal client team, overseeing all of their internal work, influencer negotiations, and contracting while supporting their career development through mentorship and training; drive the team to meet and exceed agency standards and client expectations.
Creator and Celebrity Relationship Builder and Manager:
Use personal high‑level influencer and talent relationships in music, fashion, culture and sports, while continuing to create new relationships for the brands and directly managing any high‑profile relationships with top‑tier influencers and celebrity partners; strategically identify talent and influencers for campaigns that improve ROI and achieve campaign KPIs.
Event & Activation Management:
Provide on‑the‑ground support at key moments for the client, including at events and activations both in the US and globally.
Business Builder:
Support VP in growth projects, goals, and new client acquisition.
Budget Management:
Oversee financial metrics for the team, including budgeting, servicing, and expenses; responsible for cascading financial literacy to staff.
Qualifications
Professional Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in influencer relations; previous experience working at a public relations agency strongly preferred.
Influencer Landscape Mastery:
Proven track record of executing large‑scale influencer programs as well as a rolodex of top‑tier influencer contacts.
Team Management Exposure:
Minimum of 2 years managing a team of at least two members.
Client Leadership:
Minimum of 2 years leading day‑to‑day client conversations and meetings.
Passion & Industry Knowledge:
Genuine enthusiasm and deep understanding of the digital/social media landscape, including emerging platforms/technologies.
Leadership & Event Management Expertise:
Exemplifies proficiency in team management and orchestrating events/programs exceeding a budget of $1M+, showcasing adept organizational skills and strategic resource allocation.
Content Ideation and Executor:
Previous experience conceptualizing and producing content.
The salary range is $95,000 – $110,000 annually.
