We're seeking an exceptional marketing professional to lead our Startup community marketing efforts in the San Francisco area, to develop high-impact marketing initiatives across the region for our earliest stage customers. In this role, you’ll execute community engagement activities to meet our customers where they are.
Key Responsibilities
Execute community engagement activities across three focus areas: technical immersion programs, startup ecosystem reach initiatives through strategic 3P event activation, vertical‑specific competitions, and formalized partnerships with key accelerators and community hubs.
Lead migration programs to convert engaged founders into AWS customers.
Strategic thinking, event execution, and project prioritization in a fast‑paced environment.
Collaborate with the Startup marketing team and cross‑functional geo teams, ideate fresh new ideas that spark interest and drive growth.
Travel domestically as required.
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
Experience building, executing and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.
Experience communicating results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights.
Experience with Salesforce and Tableau.
