About this Role Laird Norton Wetherby is in search of a dynamic Impact Management & Communications Specialist to enhance their impact measurement and communication efforts. This key position reports to the Chief Impact Officer and collaborates across various departments including Investment Analysis, Marketing, and Business Development. The role underscores the integration of impact management, strategic communication, and data-driven insights to foster LNW’s reputation as a leader in impact investing. By evolving the firm’s impact measurement frameworks and crafting compelling narratives, the Specialist will assist clients in understanding the financial and impact outcomes of their portfolios. The role requires adept handling of data operations and client education to support and communicate LNW’s impactful investment initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop strategic vision for the evolution of the firm’s impact measurement framework.

Coordinate collection and management of fund manager impact data using AI tools.

Manage annual manager impact surveys, analyze trends, and provide insights.

Monitor impact risks during diligence and portfolio lifecycle.

Research emerging impact measurement best practices and regulatory developments.

Lead the development of the firm’s annual impact report and quarterly investment profiles.

Produce custom client impact reports and create educational content on impact investing.

Engage with clients, present reports, and conduct education sessions.

Manage the firm’s impact data infrastructure and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience in impact measurement and management.

Strong passion for and experience in impact investing.

Knowledge of major impact investment market frameworks.

Proficiency in financial analysis and portfolio management.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Familiarity with IMM systems and data visualization tools like Power BI.

Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
