The Role We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Creator & Podcast Partnerships to scale Cometeer’s creator ecosystem. This role has a strong emphasis on strategic dealmaking, high‑impact partnerships, and podcast channel establishment and growth.
This is a highly strategic, revenue‑ and brand‑driving role. You’ll own the development and execution of our podcast partnership strategy - sourcing and closing large, high‑leverage deals, negotiating complex partnership agreements, and building long‑term relationships that drive both performance and brand equity.
In addition to strategic ownership, you'll oversee the operational backbone of the program. This means managing a strong pipeline, ensuring clean execution, and building scalable systems that support growth.
You’ll work cross‑functionally with Growth, Brand, and Finance to ensure partnerships ladder up to business objectives and measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities Partnership Strategy & Channel Leadership
Develop and own Cometeer’s creator and podcast partnerships strategy across key platforms
Identify high‑impact opportunities across creators, podcast hosts, networks, and media properties
Define deal structures that balance brand storytelling, performance marketing, and long‑term brand equity
Build repeatable frameworks for evaluating, prioritizing, and scaling partnerships
Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Development
Proactively source top‑tier creators and podcast partners aligned with Cometeer’s brand and target customer
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners across social and podcast channels
Identify breakout talent early and secure advantageous, long‑term agreements
Cultivate relationships with talent managers, agencies, podcast networks, and media buyers
Negotiation & Deal Execution
Lead negotiations end‑to‑end, including scope, pricing, usage rights, whitelisting, exclusivity, and extensions
Structure and close large, multi‑channel and multi‑episode deals
Drive favorable terms while protecting brand standards and financial efficiency
Draft, review, and manage contracts in partnership with legal and finance
Own the process of "inking" high‑value partnerships that materially impact growth
Podcast Channel Ownership
Develop Cometeer’s podcast acquisition and brand integration strategy
Source and negotiate host‑read ads, integrated segments, sponsored episodes, and longer‑term partnerships
Evaluate performance metrics across podcast channels (CPM, CAC, LTV alignment, retention signals)
Build relationships with podcast hosts and networks to secure premium inventory and recurring placements
Identify opportunities to extend podcast partnerships into social, events, or custom content
Campaign Execution & Program Operations
Oversee campaign logistics, including product sampling, shipping, creative briefing, and timelines
Ensure clear communication of deliverables, brand guidelines, and performance expectations
Maintain organized tracking systems for pipeline, contracts, usage rights, and campaign calendars
Monitor live campaigns and ensure contract compliance
Support reporting efforts, analyzing performance data, and making optimization recommendations
Oversee invoicing and payment processes
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Growth to align creator and podcast spend with performance targets
Work with Creative to ensure content is on‑brand and optimized for paid amplification
Provide insights to inform broader marketing strategy and creative testing
Contribute to forecasting and budget planning for the partnerships channel
What We're Looking For
4–8+ years of experience in partnerships, influencer/creator marketing, podcast advertising, media buying, talent management, or strategic brand partnerships
Proven track record of negotiating and closing large, high‑impact partnership deals
Direct experience managing podcast partnerships, host‑read ads, or podcast network relationships
Strong understanding of creator economics, rate benchmarking, and deal structuring
Experience balancing brand storytelling with performance marketing objectives
Excellent negotiator with confidence navigating complex contracts and commercial discussions
Strategic thinker who can zoom out to define channel direction while also executing details
Highly organized and systems‑oriented; comfortable owning both strategy and admin
Analytical fluency (Excel, Looker, Tableau, or similar tools) with the ability to evaluate ROI and optimize spend
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working cross‑functionally with creative, legal, and finance teams
Ability to work on‑site in our New York office four days per week (Thursdays remote)
Bachelor’s Degree required
