This is a true full-cycle, field-based roofing sales role. The representative is responsible for generating their own leads, performing roof inspections, presenting solutions, closing deals, and moving sold jobs cleanly through the pipeline.
This is not a lead-fed position and is best suited for a self-motivated closer who values autonomy, accountability, and performance-based earnings.
Responsibilities
Generate residential roofing leads through referrals, neighborhood outreach, networking, and canvassing
Conduct roof inspections and clearly explain findings to homeowners
Complete accurate takeoffs, estimates, and proposals (training provided)
Present pricing and scope professionally and close your own deals
Manage all leads, activity, and follow-ups in AccuLynx CRM
Schedule sold jobs and ensure a smooth handoff to production
Collect payments and maintain proper job documentation
Maintain a consistent pipeline through disciplined follow-up and activity
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of proven outside sales experience in roofing, construction, or a related industry
Proven ability to work independently in a field-based sales role
Comfortable climbing ladders and performing roof inspections
Strong communication and homeowner-facing skills
Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Roofing, construction, or home improvement sales experience strongly preferred
Coachable mindset with strong follow-through
Uncapped, commission-only compensation WITH advancement opportunity for Base + Commission
Strong earning potential for reps who control their pipeline and close consistently
Training and support for estimating, systems, and internal processes
