Position Overview A well-established
Division 8 wholesale distributor
is seeking an
Aftermarket Sales Representative
to manage and grow recurring revenue within an established local territory. This role is focused on
aftermarket, service, replacement, and retrofit sales , rather than new construction.
The position supports institutional and public-sector clients, including
school systems, municipalities, and other government-backed facilities , making it ideal for a relationship-driven salesperson with DFH experience.
Key Responsibilities
Drive aftermarket sales related to
Division 8 products , including:
Doors, frames, and hardware replacements
Repairs, retrofits, and ongoing service needs
Manage relationships with:
School districts
Municipalities
Institutional and public-sector clients
Identify repeat and recurring sales opportunities within the territory
Serve as a trusted advisor for existing customers
Coordinate internally to ensure accurate pricing, fulfillment, and follow-through
Compensation & Structure
Starting Compensation:
$80,000 – $100,000
Year 1:
Guaranteed compensation
Year 2:
Draw-based compensation plan
Earning Potential:
$120,000+ in Year 2 and beyond
Requirements
Must reside in or near
Northvale, NJ
Prior experience in
Division 8 (Doors, Frames & Hardware)
strongly preferred
Aftermarket, service, or replacement sales experience is a plus
Comfortable working with public-sector and institutional accounts
Strong relationship-building and territory management skills
