Robit is a strongly international growth company serving customers in underground and surface mining, construction, geotechnical and well drilling. We are now looking for a commercially driven and technically credible
to strengthen our EMEA Sales Team.
This role is responsible for managing and expanding Robit’s customer base across assigned EMEA territories, for example Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and other parts in the region.
This position is located at the Robit HQ in Lempäälä, Finland and requires extensive regional travel.
Role Overview The Sales Manager EMEA drives profitable growth by combining strong distributor account management, new business development and technical expertise in Rock Drilling Tools and all drilling applications. While the role has no direct line management responsibility, it requires strong collaboration and influence across internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities You will drive revenue, margin, and market share growth across your assigned EMEA territories by:
Managing and developing existing key distributor accounts while increasing share of wallet through structured customer engagement
Identifying, prospecting, and securing new end-user customers, projects, tenders, and regional opportunities together with the distribution channel
Preparing accurate quotations, costings, margins, and sales forecasts with strong commercial discipline
Acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor to customers at all organizational levels
Collaborating closely with product management, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and the wider EMEA Sales Team
Providing structured market intelligence to support strategic growth and product development
Representing Robit professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
You are accountable for meeting agreed sales budgets, maintaining healthy receivables, and ensuring compliance with Robit’s policies, quality standards, HSE, and regulatory requirements.
What We Expect From You You bring:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales, Business Development, or Product Support within mining, quarrying, or drilling
Strong technical expertise in Rock Tools and drilling applications (essential)
Experience in managing customers across multiple countries or regions
Commercial acumen with solid understanding of market pricing, margins, and contract terms
A growth-driven, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously across large geographies
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and commercial stakeholders
Structured, disciplined sales execution and CRM/reporting capability
Diploma or degree in Sales, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
Professional English; additional languages (Finnish, Spanish, French, German, Turkish, Russian) are an advantage
This role requires significant international travel (80-100 days p.a.) across assigned EMEA territories based on business needs.
