Position Summary
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will provide timely and accurate service to clients, and additional support to Sales Advisors, as it relates to the sale and service of new and existing business. You will play an important role in developing relationships with clients, Sales Advisors, and carrier representatives. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with gathering the appropriate information from clients to adequately quote their insurance. Assist with marketing new and renewal business to the appropriate insurance carriers. Prepare formal proposals of insurance and assist with presenting the material to clients. Process new and renewal business, and ensure all appropriate information and documentation is submitted in a timely and accurate manner. Assist Sales Advisors with client coverage reviews, renewal meetings, audits, etc. Review insurance policies and related documents for accuracy, and ensure corrections are made in a timely manner. Assist clients with their service requests. This includes, but is not limited to, answering questions, making changes, preparing policy documents, etc. Act as a liaison between clients and carrier representatives to resolve questions or issues related to their policies and/or coverage. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Property & Casualty insurance licenses. Experience working with commercial insurance, particularly with multiple lines of coverage. Experience working in a client-facing role that included building long-term relationships. Ability to manage an established book of business. Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of projects and tasks in an effective and timely manner. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work. Other Requirements
