$60,000-$75,000 + profit sharing
Position Objective
The Junior Account Manager supports assigned reseller partner by providing day-to-day account help, coordinating sales activities, and helping find growth opportunities. This role plays a key part in supporting strong partner relationships, ensuring smooth order execution, and supporting sales planning, reporting, and sales process execution.
This role is a developmental position intended to prepare individuals for future sales roles through structured training and leadership development opportunities.
Duties:
Provide ongoing account support to existing customers as assigned by the sales team.
Communicate promotions, product updates, and unique offers to new and existing customers.
Proactively notify customers of delivery delays, order changes, or service issues and coordinate resolutions.
Find new sales leads and support the development of sales plans and pricing strategies.
Prepare sales reports, customer updates, and performance summaries for sales management.
Document sales processes, best practices, and account activities to support team efficiency and consistency.
Analyze and support partner and product portfolio profitability to help optimize productivity and performance within assigned accounts.
Travel up to 30% as needed to support customers, sales initiatives, training, and team meetings.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Sales and Marketing, sales related field is desired.
Experience
Previous experience in a sales or account management environment is preferred.
Tools, Systems & Skills
Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Basic reporting and data analysis tools to support sales performance tracking.
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills in a demanding environment.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a standard or home office environment which requires occasionally lifting articles such as file boxes or heavier materials with help from others and/or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. A job in this category may require walking or standing to a significant degree or may involve sitting most of the time with long periods of computer work and phone usage. This position is onsite.
