What You’ll Be Doing
Develop working relationships built on trust.
Understand current and potential customers’ business objectives and challenges.
Proactively and creatively solve client problems, suggest ways to improve profitability, and assist with budget planning (e.g., marketing activities, menu and design changes).
Act as a key external resource to help customers achieve their goals with internal stakeholders.
Attend and lead discussions with owners or nutritional directors during conferences and seminars, and lead product and merchandising pricing proposals.
Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance using the Martin Bros. sales process.
Follow and achieve the department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Go the extra mile for the customer while balancing profitability for the organization.
Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
Comply with inventory control procedures.
