Overview
The Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. The position is responsible for supervising and managing total golf operations in the absence of the Head Golf Professional. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of service and total satisfaction of all members and guests.
Experience Required
Minimum 1 year experience as an Assistant Professional preferred
Able to conduct individual lessons and group clinics
Point of Sale knowledge or ability to learn Jonas
Experience with Golf Genius preferred
Essential Responsibilities
Actively pursue PGA membership or maintain PGA membership in good standing
Assist in inventory control of hard goods, soft goods, and special orders
Assist with management of outside service staff to ensure the highest quality of member service is achieved
Assist with all opening and closing procedures
Assist in tournament operations and weekly events including MGA, SMGA, and club tournaments
Able to play golf with a variety of members
