Main responsibilities:
Provide high-quality customer service.
Train, schedule, and supervise produce clerks.
Achieve department financial goals and manage budget.
Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.
Execute weekly merchandising and marketing plans.
Perform inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels.
Forecast weekly sales and track purchases.
Support corporate/division initiatives.
Assist customers with product selection.
Inspect code-dated items for freshness.
Write department schedule based on forecasts.
Follow country-of-origin labeling requirements.
Remove outdated produce and maintain freshness.
Provide product info, samples, and promote sales.
Transport produce using equipment.
Prepare produce for crisping.
Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
Manage price accuracy and signage.
Clean display and backroom areas.
Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated and eager to grow product knowledge.
Ability to handle complaints calmly and professionally.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership and staff supervision.
Merchandising and display execution.
Inventory management and forecasting.
Customer issue resolution.
Regulatory and safety compliance.
Price accuracy and signage management.
Knowledge :
Company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Produce handling, freshness standards, and rotation.
Food safety and sanitation regulations.
Workplace conduct and attendance standards.
Abilities :
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull product.
Ability to stand and walk continuously.
Ability to work varying schedules.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and gripping.
