
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and schedule social media content across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, etc.) including blogs, and website updates
Support digital organizing and digital fundraising efforts, including online actions, advocacy campaigns, email or social media asks, and calls to action
Develop culturally responsive, bilingual (Spanish/English) content that aligns with Voces Unidas’ values, voice, and community-centered approach
Create and adapt graphics, short-form videos and written content to elevate community stories and advocacy goals.
Collaborate with program staff to align digital content with campaign timelines and organizational priorities.
Assist with live or on-site content capture (if local and available).
Support rapid response content as needed
Maintain a basic content calendar and assist with administrative coordination related to digital communications
Track engagement metrics and flag trends or opportunities for improvement.
Support accessibility best practices (bilingual captions, alt text, clear calls to action.)
Qualifications
2-3 years of professional social media experienced required (organizational, campaign or community based preferred)
Spanish language proficiency required (written and spoken)
Graphic design or creative design skills
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and audience
Experience managing social media for organizations, campaigns, or community initiatives.
Familiarity with digital organizing, digital fundraising, advocacy, or civic engagement
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Strong judgment around respectful storytelling and consent
Schedule
Part-time: 20 hours per week (maximum)
Work schedule Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm
Hours may be spread throughout the week
Ideal for individuals seeking creative, mission-driven part-time work
Compensation
Hourly rate: $20-$35 depending on experience
