Primary Purpose Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power, and PECO’s social media team is charged with creating strategic, innovative brand, advertising and marketing plans and materials. Together with external agencies, the Social Media Analyst position provides social media support to the Companies; brand strategy, advertising and integrated marketing campaigns. The position helps drive the Companies’ overall content strategy for owned social media channels and routinely collaborates across other business functions to develop digital content that supports issue and messaging priorities. The position will also assist in management of enterprise-wide social media software as well as the establishment of governance and support protocols to help ensure successful implementation company wide.

Primary Duties

Support regular reporting cadence and provide recommendations for content and strategy optimization based on KPIs, benchmarks and further analysis of social and digital media content.

Support the overall strategy and day-to-day operations of Atlantic City Electric, Delmarva Power, and PECO’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, while advising on best practices, new platforms to consider and opportunities to align with broader digital media strategies. Grow, track and organize channel audiences across all platforms.

Create and execute organic and paid social and digital media content and campaigns, including copywriting and visual development as necessary, guide strategy, and interpret analytics to positively contribute to and influence the success of content.

Execute a brand journalism content strategy, creating supporting blog content, multimedia and analyzing results to inform future decisions.

Collaborate with customer care representatives to actively monitor, listen, triage and respond to inbound messages and posts on Company-owned social media profiles. Ensure both private and public social communications reflect brand values and messaging priorities.

Collaborate with colleagues from across the business to share content and lead execution of social campaigns on various programs, initiatives, and business areas. Define objectives, establish content strategy and work with client to provide reporting and evaluate performance.

Job Scope Position reports to the Manager of Social Media and Digital. Position is full-time and based in either Philadelphia, PA, or Newark, DE. Requires ability to travel. Requires ability to work extended hours in evening and/or weekend.

Minimum Qualifications 4-year relevant degree and 2-5 years’ professional experience in social media for a Fortune brand, marketing, PR or advertising agency. In lieu of degree, 6-9 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive and innovative social media strategies in support of high-profile initiatives and campaigns. Excellent writing and copy-editing skills, experience writing for multiple audiences and platforms. Excellent interpersonal communications. Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong organizational skills to effectively manage resources and the execution of multiple projects on an ongoing basis. Experience managing or interacting with digital agencies and internal stakeholders. Familiarity with design and web development processes and guiding principles. Experience interfacing with executives and management personnel. Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal and professional growth and development.

Preferred Qualifications Ability to translate complex industry issues into rich and engaging digital and social content. Experience with Sprinklr or other enterprise level social media management platforms. Proficiency with Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager, including the ability to place campaigns, manage delivery and budgets and analyze results. Highly motivated individual who demonstrates commitment to continuous personal and professional growth and development. Experience in graphic or visual design, video editing and social media creative development. Experience in executing digital media campaigns and familiarity with Sprinklr, Google Analytics and Wordpress.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $65,600.00/Yr. – $90,200.00/Yr.
