The Marketing & Events Administrator serves a vital role in fulfilling CFU’s mission through building brand awareness and driving relationship development. Marketing & Relationship Development Strategy & Planning: develop and implement annual development/marketing plans and campaigns aligned with organizational goals Development & Marketing Strategy: manage budgets, track performance metrics, and collaborate with CFU teams to support community awareness and engagement Content Creation & Management: produce content for social media, newsletters, websites, and annual reports to increase visibility Fundraising Support: create persuasive, donor-centric messaging to drive donations and support initiatives Community Engagement: build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes Analytics & Reporting: track marketing KPIs and analyze campaign performance to optimize outreach Project Management: oversee marketing materials production (newsletters, website and graphic design), maintain brand consistency, and develop program/donor collateral Impact Storytelling: design, implement, and manage frameworks to measure, analyze, and report on CFUs programmatic effectiveness Event Management Fundraising: drive membership and sponsorship fundraising goals, plan and execute events within programmatic budget/earned revenue targets Logistics & Project Management: handle all venue, catering, and AV vendor negotiations, along with project timelines for bi-annual events Board: plan and execute annual Board retreat Advisors: identify and coordinate marketing/continuing education presentations Fundraising & Strategy: develop and implement plans for increasing donations, including planned gifts, corporate and individual giving Donor Relations: build and maintain relationships with donors and community partners to increase ongoing support Financial Oversight: manage fundraising budgets, track incoming revenue, and provide regular reports Grant Facilitation: research, write, and manage grant applications, maintain compliance with reporting requirements for grants where needed Administrative Support: Provide ongoing support across teams and office as requested Preferred Experience Experience: 4-6 years of experience with marketing, relationship development and event planning Strong storytelling ability, excellent copywriting skills, strategic thinking, and project management Proficiency in social media management, email marketing tools (Mailchimp), CMS (e.g., Joomla), CRM systems, design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and Microsoft Office Ability to interpret complex data, statistical analysis, and research findings Ability to leverage AI tools Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail Budgeting skills and experience with a high level of comfort with financial reporting Ability to forecast process bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions Who You Are Strong interpersonal skills with a client service orientation Comfortable with financial complexity and able to effectively apply financial information to relevant tasks Ability to juggle multiple and disparate priorities efficiently and smoothly Willing and able to adapt, change, or streamline processes based on shifting priorities, changing circumstances, and/or stakeholder resources and capacity Understanding of the value and impact of continuous learning and iteration Transparent communicator open to both give and receive constructive feedback Eager to empathize with, and integrate, diverse perspectives and approaches Candidates must live in or be in close proximity to Salt Lake City, Utah Let’s Make an Impact
