
Delaware Nation Industries is seeking a Graphic Designer to support the United States Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Graphic Designer will create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles, esthetic design concepts, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy and select style and size of type.
Use computer software to generate new images.
Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients and/or supervisors and making necessary changes.
Develop negatives and prints to produce layout photographs, using negative and print developing equipment and tools.
Produce still and animated graphics for on-air and taped portions of television news broadcasts, using electronic video equipment.
Qualifications
BA/BS from an accredited college or university
4 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer; 6 years of additional experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Be familiar with other software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Java.
Security Clearance SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
