Social platforms are critical to their commercial success and this role leads the strategy, execution, and evolution of partner creative executions on social, blending editorial judgment, audience growth, brand stewardship, and performance optimization.
Description The Partner Communications Social Platforms Manager is responsible for driving marketing innovation on social platforms and raising the creative bar with indirect Channel Partners, whilst upholding the integrity of the Apple brand. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands‑on leader, fluent in platform culture, media, digital journeys, CRM, content formats, and analytics, with a strong point of view on how social drives brand relevance and business impact, maximizing both the Apple and the Partners’ brand and revenue.
Responsibilities
Drive innovative partner social strategies and impactful creative work for Apple products and services through a deep understanding of the Apple brand, our partners’ brands, commercial priorities, market trends, and challenges.
Work across the global organization to understand both macro and comms trends for Apple products and services and develop a strong point of view on how those manifest in the partners' social platforms, taking into account platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.
Drive platform‑specific content strategies and performance marketing through a strong understanding of segmentation capabilities and best practices within each social platform.
Establish KPIs and success metrics for each platform, analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable optimizations, deliver regular performance reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership, and partner with the partner paid media teams to align organic and paid social strategies.
Anticipate platform trends and emerging formats, recommending innovation and experimentation.
Serve as the senior point of contact for social strategy across internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate extensively across many teams, internationally and locally, both internally at Apple and externally with partners such as Carriers, Retailers, Banks, SMB’s, and Enterprise Resellers, Media Content Providers, and more.
Inspire and contribute to the large global network of Geo (global) Partner Communications Managers, sharing learnings and establishing workflows, best practices, and governance across platforms.
International travel may be required 3-4 times per year.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in a social creative strategy and execution role, with expert understanding of social platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.
Success in leading multi‑platform social content and campaigns for a brand, media company, or cultural institution in a social agency/brand/publisher.
Track‑record of collaborating with large cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in social culture, creators, communities, and storytelling.
Sharp, global perspective of what makes great socially‑driven creative work.
Ability to delve deeply into a partner’s business, marketing strategy, and consumer insights, to understand challenges and find opportunities on social platforms.
Strong analytical skills and ability to knit together disparate sources of information into succinct insights, a strong strategic narrative, and clear optimization plans.
Ability to develop positive relationships with partners and creators, and inspire them about what's possible within our brand tenets.
Passion for great work, seeing potential and cultivating it, with a tremendous ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to drive the work forward.
Thrive as part of a cross‑functional team, flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment as a member of a high‑performing team, yet also have the ability to lead.

Experience in understanding business and product strategy and consumer insights, to build a global communications social strategy for partners.
Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or advanced business degree.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,600 and $274,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
