
Rental Sales Representative (Equipment Rental)

What You’ll Do: 1. Grow the Business
Prospect new customers through cold calling, site visits, and relationship building
Identify opportunities, monitor competitors, and recommend the right equipment for each job
Expand rental market share within your assigned territory
2. Own Customer Relationships
Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts
Stay ahead of customer needs, long‑term rentals, and service expectations
Handle account collections and equipment repossessions when needed
Ensure deliveries are accurate, on time, and meet agreement standards
3. Stay Organized & Accurate
Ensure rental contracts and documentation are complete and accurate
Maintain organized, up‑to‑date files that meet company standards
Coordinate delivery and pickup documentation with internal teams
4. Collaborate & Win as a Team
Work cross‑functionally with Service, Operations, and Marketing
Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities
Participate in sales meetings, training, and industry events
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
3+ years of sales or account management experience preferred
Comfortable in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment
Strong communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills
High integrity — you do what you say you’ll do
