Summary
This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive payments product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and goals, ensuring a product roadmap that meets customer needs. Additionally responsible for identifying and development strategies to go after scale growth opportunities. Also responsible for managing a team of product managers to establish and maintain domain expertise for products and services within the Merchant Services business and will work closely with Sales, Servicing and Large Account/Technical Solutions team members to ensure products are positioned and priced to encourage client adoption while maintaining profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap to achieve scale growth for payments business.
Commercialize payment gateways, ensuring seamless integration and a user-friendly experience for small and medium-sized businesses.
Responsible for Product P& L and growth targets.
Manage a Product team and providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure alignment with overall product and company objectives.
Lead the commercialization efforts for products, including defining pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and marketing strategies to maximize product adoption and revenue generation.
Identify and assess potential vertical partners who can enhance the product offering and market reach.
Develop a deep understanding of industry dynamics and trends to drive partnership decisions.
Establish relationships with vertical partners, negotiating reseller agreements that expand the distribution channels and drive revenue growth.
Develop and maintain insights into regulatory trends and compliance as it relates to the payments industry.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 12 years of payment product management experience, with a track record of launching and commercializing successful payments products.
Minimum of 5+ years managing a team of product management professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of the payments industry and ability to leverage a broad network.
Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
Experience in negotiating and closing strategic partnerships and reseller agreements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Adept at managing Agile development process with proficiency in tools like Jira, Figma, Monday.
Strong design and use-case development skills.
Proven experience managing (directly or indirectly) technical teams (internal or partner based)
Solid experience with payments solutions in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Solid experience with modern payments infrastructure including Ledgering & Virtual accounts.
Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERPs) and application programming interfaces (APIs).
Strong technical skills to understand and guide product architecture and design decisions.
Experience working with independent software vendors (ISVs) and software platforms in understanding and delivering for their payment solution needs.
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)

Compensation Range The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
