Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating data in our systems, ensuring the integrity of records, and assisting with data management tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Input, update, and maintain accurate data in company databases and systems

Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy

Organize and categorize data into appropriate formats and folders

Ensure proper filing and documentation of information

Assist with data cleaning and data quality checks

Communicate any discrepancies or errors in data to the appropriate team members

Support other administrative tasks as needed (e.g., report generation, record management)

Follow data protection and confidentiality protocols

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or some college preferred

Proven experience in data entry or administrative support

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent typing speed and accuracy (typically 50+ WPM)

Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and Google Workspace

Basic knowledge of databases and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus

Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data management software (e.g., Microsoft Access, Oracle, etc.)

Familiarity with cloud-based file storage and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox)

Previous remote work experience

Technical Requirements (Remote Role)

Stable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing and data access

Quiet, distraction-free workspace

A reliable computer and the necessary software/tools for the role

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company data security guidelines
