Opportunity As a Pre‑Sales Solution Consultant, you blend business savvy and technical expertise to demonstrate New Relic’s solutions and business value to a broad spectrum of audiences, from IT to business. You build positive relationships, handle technical objections, and guide customers through the full sales cycle. Ultimately, you serve as a trusted advisor to internal partners and C‑Level Executives.
What You’ll Do
Support the Mid‑Market Sales team with opportunity qualification, demonstrations, Proof of Concept presentations (POC), RFP responses & business justification in a pre‑sales capacity.
Develop deep expertise in New Relic products and services to provide customer‑specific value propositions highlighting the benefits and differentiators of our products.
Identify and resolve critical business/technical issues.
Take technical ownership of the entire sales cycle and drive it to a successful close.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of pre‑sales experience and/or similar capacity.
High level of knowledge around common programming languages and technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Understanding of value‑based selling in customer‑facing roles.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Balanced skills in sales, business, and technical domains.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Bonus Points
Clear understanding of network & system management solutions.
Experience with Monitoring and Observability, Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, AIOps, Logging, Data Analytics, and Visualization.
Knowledge or certification of public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with real‑user monitoring and digital experience.

Estimated On‑Target Earnings Range: $149,000 - $186,000 USD
