We are seeking an experienced RFSmart (RFgen) consultant with deep knowledge of warehouse operations to implement, configure, and support RFSmart solutions integrated with JD Edwards and/or Oracle ERP. Key Responsibilities
Lead RFSmart implementation, configuration, and rollout across warehouse operations. Configure RFSmart for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes. Provide post‑go‑live and AMS support for RFSmart applications. Design and support warehouse processes: receiving and put‑away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory movements, cycle counting, lot/serial/LPN management. Optimize warehouse workflows for accuracy, productivity, and traceability. Integrate RFSmart with JD Edwards (E1) or Oracle ERP / NetSuite. Coordinate with JD Edwards modules such as Inventory Management, Procurement, Sales Order Management, and Warehouse Management. Work with technical teams on interfaces, extensions, and custom RF transactions. Conduct requirement‑gathering workshops, prepare functional design documents (FDD), configuration documents, and SOPs. Perform functional testing (SIT, UAT) and support go‑live activities and stabilization. Train end users and warehouse supervisors on RFSmart mobile solutions. Act as a liaison between business, IT, and RFSmart technical teams, providing issue analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations. Required Skills & Experience
10+ years working with RFSmart solutions, including hands‑on transactions and configurations. Strong understanding of RFSmart integration with JD Edwards or Oracle ERP. Solid knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations in manufacturing, retail, FMCG, or distribution environments. Experience with barcode scanning, mobile devices, and label printing. Experience with RF handheld devices (Zebra, Honeywell, etc.) and RF architecture and performance tuning. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications
RFSmart certification or formal training. JD Edwards functional experience (Inventory, WM, Procurement, Sales). Experience with label printing, GS1 standards, and compliance. Exposure to 3PL integrations and multi‑warehouse environments. Why Join Sonata Software?
