Your Role And Responsibilities As a Technology Sales Leader, you will drive technology strategy with customers, focusing on the entire IBM Technology Portfolio. This portfolio encompasses IBM Software and IBM Infrastructure, including four Software Platforms and various Infrastructure product portfolios. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Develop Strategic Customer Relationships: Drive customer engagement, fostering deep relationships to understand their needs and deliver tailored technology solutions across IBM's Software and Infrastructure portfolios.

Lead Technology Portfolio Sales: Shape sales strategies, leveraging IBM's four Software Platforms and Infrastructure product portfolios to meet customer demands and drive business growth.

Deliver Solution‑Centric Approach: Establish a solution‑focused methodology, collaborating with customers to design and implement comprehensive technology solutions that address their unique challenges.

Foster Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Pioneer cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of IBM's Technology Portfolio, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Optimize Sales Performance: Define and execute sales strategies to optimize performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement across the IBM Technology Portfolio.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Deep Expertise in Technology Portfolio: Proven track record of driving technology strategy with customers, focusing on a broad portfolio of software and infrastructure products, including multiple platforms and portfolios.

Experience with Software Platforms: In‑depth knowledge of software platforms, including data, automation, transaction processing, and hybrid cloud, with products such as DataStage, API Connect, Concert, and watsonx Assistant for Z.

Infrastructure Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of infrastructure product portfolios, including Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW, with products such as Power10, Storage Scale, Hyper Protect Virtual Servers, and z16.

Solution‑Centric Approach: Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that address unique customer challenges, leveraging a solution‑focused methodology.

Cross‑Functional Leadership: Proven ability to pioneer cross‑functional teams, ensuring seamless delivery of a technology portfolio and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Broad Technology Portfolio Knowledge: Deep understanding of a wide range of software and infrastructure products, including multiple platforms and portfolios, to drive technology strategy with customers.

Advanced Software Platform Expertise: In‑depth knowledge of software platforms, including data, automation, transaction processing, and hybrid cloud, with the ability to leverage products such as DataStage, API Connect, Concert, and watsonx Assistant for Z.
