Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Maintenance Director role located in Dallas, TX. The Assistant Maintenance Director will support the Maintenance Director in overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the apartment community to ensure property safety, appearance, and functionality. Responsibilities will include coordinating maintenance activities, supervising staff, addressing work orders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves hands‑on maintenance and repairs, including carpentry and general upkeep of the facility.
Qualifications
Strong Supervisory Skills, including team management and performance oversight
Expertise in Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently
Proficiency in Carpentry and working with building materials
Experience in Facility Management (FM) and Maintenance Management
Knowledge of tools and practices in property or apartment community maintenance
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work on-site and respond to situations promptly
Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, EPA) are a plus
