Property & Casualty Producer
with the confidence, resilience, and business acumen needed to win in the competitive commercial insurance marketplace.
This role blends outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and risk advisory expertise. You’ll collaborate with account managers, analysts, and leadership to design commercial programs tailored to each client’s operations, exposures, and industry needs.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business through cold calling, networking, and relationship development.
Conduct risk assessments to identify exposures and coverage gaps.
Present commercial insurance solutions across general liability, property, auto, workers’ compensation, cyber, professional liability, and industry-specific programs.
Work closely with underwriting partners to structure competitive programs based on loss history and market conditions.
Deliver stewardship reports, renewal strategies, and risk-control recommendations.
Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners, CFOs, controllers, and risk managers.
Stay current on market trends, pricing changes, and industry developments.
Requirements
1–3+ years of commercial insurance, P&C sales, risk management, or underwriting experience preferred.
Illinois P&C insurance license (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
Proven prospecting skills, including cold calling.
Understanding of commercial insurance lines and business risk fundamentals.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work hybrid in Lisle, IL (2–3 days onsite).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits.
Legally authorized to work in the United States; no future sponsorship required.
Compensation $40,000 - $70,000
