About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Director or Vice President of Procurement to spearhead the enterprise procurement strategy and execution for a portfolio of large-scale gas-fired power generation projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in securing long-lead generation equipment, negotiating OEM agreements, and establishing the supply-side foundation necessary for the delivery of multi-gigawatt projects. Key responsibilities include leading the procurement of gas turbines and major generation equipment packages, managing RFP processes, and maintaining strong relationships with major turbine OEMs and strategic suppliers. The role also involves overseeing specification alignment, developing preferred supplier frameworks, and managing supply chain risk mitigation.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of procurement or supply chain leadership experience in power generation, with a direct focus on gas turbine procurement. A background in a utility, IPP, developer, EPC, or turbine OEM is essential, as is a deep familiarity with turbine specifications and plant configurations. The ideal candidate will possess strong OEM relationships, negotiation experience, and the ability to lead teams or build procurement functions. The role requires the capacity to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth development environment and to provide executive-level reporting and supply chain insights.
