This job requires candidates to be dynamic sales and service specialists for our Mobile Branch. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of providing phenomenal service preferably in a financial and/or retail environment and are comfortable with “needs-based” selling. Ideal candidates should also be exceptional conversationalists with an outgoing and professional personality and have experience in community relations. Key Job Responsibilities
Responsible for educating existing and potential members about products and services to meet their needs. Learn about members by asking questions to obtain personal and financial data to ensure appropriate recommendations are made. Promote all products and services to existing and potential members, community organizations and students. Participates in community events for brand awareness and increasing new membership. Educates event participants of our services and products. Works with the Community Relations Assistant Manager on the Mobile Branch unit participating in community events for brand awareness and increasing new membership. Works with the Community Relations Assistant Manager to execute the Student Banking program. Duties may include creating or delivering financial literacy sessions during Student Banking days. Open and process new accounts, loan applications, and any other products or services offered by the credit union and have experience with meeting/exceeding sales goals expectations. Exceeds all member service standards of the Credit Union and is an advocate of our culture. Represents the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner. Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
Must possess an outgoing personality and be comfortable approaching people. Minimum 1 + years banking experience. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Must be willing to work in a variety of environments that include the office, the mobile unit, and outdoors. Must have previous sales and service experience. Foster positive relationships with community members and local organizations. Must have exceptional communication and presenting skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to solve problems and provide solutions, work independently or as a group. Must be able to stand for majority of the workday. Must be able to drive a 33 ft RV Bus or be willing to learn and drive one. Physical Demands
The role requires extensive time on your feet and/or walking throughout the day. You may be required to lift and/or move items of various weights and sizes. You will be spending time in a space that is not a typical office environment.
