Overview
Established property management and brokerage, with ownership of commercial, residential, and medical properties, with a focus on the New York Tri-State area, Florida, and throughout the country. Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Apply daily payments including checks, wires, and ACH Prepare and enter billing, credits, and adjustments for monthly statements Generate, review, and analyze monthly reports Manage collections and follow up on overdue accounts professionally Process and reconcile security deposits Prepare weekly cash reports for managed properties Track and support new residential leases and renewals Assist with month-end and year-end closing related to accounts receivable Bookkeeping / Accounts Payable Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries as needed Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Support accounts payable functions as required Coordinate with external accountants and advisors Create and maintain new property files Collect and organize tax, insurance, and utility documentation Qualifications
Prior experience in real estate accounting or property management Experience with Yardi Breeze or other Yardi platforms strongly preferred Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data Tech-savvy with openness to using AI and automation tools Experience handling collections and tenant communications Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
